B•Sew Inn invites you and your students to participate in our Education Division Programs. We currently offer unique assistance in the fields of Technology Education, Family and Consumer Science Education, and Business/Entrepreneur Education.
These programs feature the introduction of new computerized sewing/embroidery machines, semi-industrial & industrial equipment, patented sergers and computerized digitizing software into the classroom.
Educational groups participating in our programs receive significant discounts when purchasing embroidery/monogramming machines, sergers, sewing machines, computer hardware and software, cabinets, chairs, irons, cutting tables and other needed supplies.
With our equipment comes state-of-the-art educator training and classroom support. We also provide equipment maintenance plans and on-site service.
Our Education Division Programs are currently in place within the states of Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Schools outside of these three states may qualify for the similar benefits. Email schools@bsewinn.com for details.
How we use Twitter in the Education Division
The Education Division uses a 2 account system that allows us to monitor over 150 Twitter Accounts with one account, and then re-tweet only the useful ones to our second account which is @sewinginschools. This is the account you should follow to participate in our Twitter Promotions. This ensures an uncluttered flow of helpful classroom information. We don’t follow anyone that follows us on our @sewinginschools account. Protecting your privacy is our primary reason for this policy. Because we don’t follow you, we lose the ability to receive DM (direct messages) from you. That is why our twitter contests require that you email your answers to our Education Division. We believe that the trade-off is well worth the extra effort but if we find an alternative secure method of communication, we’ll adapt.
NOTE: If you REALLY want us to follow you, please email the Education Division and we’ll follow you with the account that we use to gather data, not the @sewinginschools account.

Educator Twitter Promotion
Educators in our Education Division Data Base are invited to participate in Mystery Mondays using our @sewinginschools Twitter Account. Each Monday we tweet a blurry photo to identify or ask an obscure question about a product. The first educator to email the correct answer to
schools@bsewinn.com
wins the Mystery Monday prize.
Prizes are pre-selected, but kept a secret until someone answers correctly.
More Mystery! More Fun!
Although most prizes are smaller in nature, there are some that absolutely ROCK
and you never know which weeks the BIG ones are up for grabs.
Tweets will be sent at different times of the day so that educators have an equal chance of winning.
Not everyone can access twitter at school and we want to be fair.
For this promotion we will be keeping each winner’s identity a secret. We like competition and we don’t really care if someone wins more than once.
Heck, if you win 3 times in a row we will be delighted that you knew so many correct answers.
Only Educators in our Education Division Data Base are eligible to compete.
AND PLEASE REMEMBER…
We reserve the right to cancel this promotion at any time, as well as,
make multiple changes to suite our whims and the legalistic side of today's society.

What’s Next for the Education Division?
Blogging, of course. Twitter has enabled us to pass along links to some very interesting information but it still doesn’t solve the issue of how to permanently archive data so that you can access it at your convenience.
Example: What if you need to know how to embroider on card stock at 1:00 am? Or the proper method to hoop and stabilize a t-shirt?
A blog will allow us to input information sheets that you can get to when you need it. We’ve already begun the set-up process and we’ll update you when it is ready for use.
Until then, you can assist us by emailing your suggestions for topics to schools@bsewinn.com
Tell us what you need to know the most and we’ll post those first, if possible.
Funding
During tight budget years, keeping your classroom up to date can be a struggle for you, the educator. In addition to your annual school budget, Federal and State Grants may be available for your school. Our Educational Consultant will assist you through each step of the process required to optimize your ability to achieve these available funds. Equipping your classroom with the newest technology may be easier than you think. Other schools across the nation are sewing and creating with top-of-the-line hi-tech equipment. There is no reason that you and your students should not be also. Remember, this a
FREE service!
Guest Speakers and On-Site Demonstrations
For schools participating in our Education Division Programs we can arrange on-site demonstrations and guest speakers. (Availability is limited. Please book early in the school year. Some fees may apply.)
