The Horn Model 8479 is a tall sewing cabinet designed to provide a comfortable and ergonomic sewing experience for taller individuals or those who love to stand to embroidery. At 36-1/2" tall, this cabinet is perfect for those who want to achieve the ideal sewing position and enjoy maximum comfort while working on their projects. The cabinet is 26" deep so it allows for extra knee room when sitting. The Model 8479 sewing cabinet features a swing-up side platform and swing-up table for additional workspace, a second sewing machine or serger up to 45 Lbs, cutting mat, or pressing mat. The removable foot control platform allows you to adjust the height of your foot pedal for maximum comfort. The easy to access pull-out feature keeps up to 132 spools of thread at quick reach and the four storage drawers are soft-closing! Extra storage is available for an embroidery module and hoop storage - or you can convert this space into adjustable storage shelves. The left drawer extension adds an extra 18-3/8" W x 17" D work surface. The Model 8479 has an extra wide machine cut out to accomodate most all larg machines include the Baby Lock Radiance and Solaris, the Bernina 990, Janome M17 and similar models.
