Amanda Autrey

A self-proclaimed "multi-needle girl" Amanda has owned her own embroidery business for 5 years. During this time she has completed work for Rock of Ages off Broadway show, Cirque du Soleil and has fostered relationships with numerous local schools and universities around her home town area, Destin, Florida. “I love having the ability to add my own creative touch to almost anything by either sewing or embroidery.” As a Baby Lock and Durkee Hoops educator, she loves being able to help others succeed in an art that she’s passionate about. But most importantly, she said teaching has taught her an important lesson: “Not everyone is an instant seamstress, but if you keep practicing and be creatively fearless the end result can be something amazing!”
