How to Die Cut 3-color Enigma Star Blocks:
For best cutting results, position fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it goes under the roller. Tip: The die is specially designed to cut one complete 3-color 10" finished block in one pass through the cutter.
• Fabric Color 1 (Background):
• Cut a 3 7/8" strip across the width of fabric. Fanfold into 3 7/8" widths. Place over shape A and cut 4 shapes.
• Cut a 5 1/4" strip across the width of fabric. Fanfold into 3 1/8" widths. Place over shape B to cut 4 shapes.
• Cut a 2-1/2" strip across the width of fabric. Fanfold into 4 3/8" widths. Place over shapes C and D to cut 4 of each shape.
• Fabric Color 2 (Purple):
• Cut four 3-1/2" x 5" rectangles. Place two rectangles right side up and two rectangles right side down over shape E to cut 8 shapes.
• Cut a 2 3/4" strip across the width of fabric. Fanfold into 2 3/4" widths. Place over shape F to cut 4 shapes.
• Fabric Color 3 (Blue): Cut a 2 7/8" strip across the width of fabric. Fanfold into 3" widths. Place over shape G to cut 4 shapes.
